Job Description
An exciting opportunity awaits for a Board Certified Behavior Analyst (BCBA) to provide essential support to a district embracing behavioral services for the first time. In this part-time contract role, you will work closely with educational staff to develop and launch comprehensive intervention strategies, and help shape the district's behavioral program from the ground up. This innovative position offers the chance to directly impact the lives of students while mentoring and supervising new Registered Behavior Technicians (RBTs).
Qualifications & Experience:
- Current BCBA certification required
- Previous experience in school-based or educational settings preferred
- Proven ability to provide supervision for RBTs
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills to collaborate with administrators, teachers, and families
- Passion for developing and implementing behavioral intervention plans
- Adaptability and initiative in pioneering new services within a district
Key Responsibilities:
- Oversee and supervise RBTs as they deliver direct student support
- Meet with district leadership to determine caseload and outline program objectives (initial meeting scheduled for August 10)
- Assess student needs and design targeted behavioral intervention plans
- Collaborate with educators and district staff to ensure successful program rollout
- Provide ongoing training and guidance to staff on best practices for applied behavior analysis
- Track student progress and maintain necessary documentation for compliance and program evaluation
