Job Description
Take your occupational therapy expertise to the next level with a contract opportunity delivering teletherapy services to K-12 students. This full-time role offers the chance to make a real difference, supporting a caseload of 45-50 students. You’ll collaborate closely with educational staff to foster student growth, with the flexibility of supporting the school community via teletherapy.
With a start date as soon as possible and an assignment lasting through May 28, 2027, you’ll enjoy the stability and satisfaction of a long-term position focused on developing student skills and maximizing their success.
Qualifications:
- Active TX SLP License (required)
- Prior experience in school-based occupational therapy (preferred)
- Familiarity with teletherapy platforms and services
- Strong communication and organizational skills
- Ability to manage a diverse caseload across multiple grade levels (K-12)
Responsibilities:
- Deliver occupational therapy services to K-12 students through a secure teletherapy platform
- Assess student abilities, develop Individualized Education Plans (IEPs), and monitor progress
- Maintain thorough and timely documentation of interventions and outcomes
- Collaborate with teachers, families, and multidisciplinary teams to support student progress
- Participate in IEP meetings and provide input on goals and strategies
- Remain adaptable and solution-focused while serving students in a virtual format
