Location: Rosemount, MN
Hours: Full-Time (School Day Schedule)
Position Type: Paraprofessional / Educational Aide
We are hiring a Full-Time Paraprofessional proficient in American Sign Language (ASL) to support students in Rosemount, Minnesota. In this role, you will work closely with deaf or hard-of-hearing students, using your ASL fluency to facilitate communication, support learning, and assist classroom teachers.
Key Responsibilities
Provide direct instructional and communication support using American Sign Language (ASL) in the classroom.
Assist students who are deaf or hard-of-hearing with daily lessons, assignments, and classroom routines.
Foster student independence, social interaction, and active participation in school activities.
Collaborate with special education teachers, deaf/hard-of-hearing specialists, and support staff to carry out student IEP goals.
Qualifications & Requirements
ASL Proficiency: Must be fluent/proficient in American Sign Language (ASL).

Education Requirements: High School Diploma or equivalent AND meet one of the following:
An Associate’s Degree or higher, OR
2 years of post-secondary coursework, OR
A passing score on the Minnesota ParaEducator Assessment.
Experience: 1–2 years of experience working with children with disabilities is preferred.
