School-Based Speech Language Pathologist - Gig Harbor, Washington

Step into a pivotal role supporting students across the Bremerton, WA region throughout the 2026-2027 school year as a contract Speech-Language Pathologist. Engage with multiple school locations in scenic West-Northwest Washington, working collaboratively with multidisciplinary teams to ensure the success of students with communication needs. This position involves serving diverse school communities and empowering students with specialized support.

Key Responsibilities:

• Identify, evaluate, and support communication-disordered students receiving special education services.
• Collaborate on eligibility determinations and take part in placement decisions for speech and language services.
• Contribute to the development, implementation, and monitoring of Individualized Education Programs (IEPs).
• Consult with educators, families, and related service staff to promote effective interventions.
• Maintain thorough documentation in compliance with state and district standards.
• Provide direct therapy sessions, progress reports, and recommendations tailored to unique student needs.

Qualifications:

• Master’s degree in Speech and Language Pathology.
• Current Washington State ESA Certificate for Speech/Language Pathologist.
• Valid Restraint Certification.
• CCC-SLP or eligibility to obtain equivalent clinical competence.
• Prior experience in special education programs preferred.
• Strong organizational, communication, and collaboration skills.
