This contract opportunity spans the academic year from August 6 through May 25, 2027, offering a dynamic and engaging environment near scenic Seneca, SC. Qualifications & Preferred Experience:
- Master’s degree in Speech-Language Pathology
- Valid SLP - CCC (Certificate of Clinical Competence) credentials
- State SLP licensure (or eligibility for licensure) required
- Prior school-based experience preferred, particularly with grades 6-12
- Strong assessment, intervention, and case management skills
- Ability to manage a varied caseload and adapt to changing needs
- Outstanding communication, collaboration, and organizational abilities
Key Responsibilities:
- Evaluate, diagnose, and provide evidence-based speech and language therapy to students aged 6-12th grade
- Develop and implement individualized education plans (IEPs) in collaboration with school teams and families
- Track student progress, maintain thorough documentation, and participate in IEP meetings
- Conduct screenings and assessments to identify student needs
- Provide direct and consultative services, offering support within both individual and group settings
- Educate and empower teachers and family members on communication strategies that enhance classroom and home learning
