Full-time contract roles are available for innovative educators ready to inspire and guide 8th-grade students through engaging math curriculum during the upcoming school year, with one position specifically seeking a Dual Language endorsement. This onsite-only position asks you to immerse yourself in the classroom community—helping cultivate a supportive, challenging, and dynamic learning environment.
Desired Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in Education or a related field.
- Active Illinois Professional Educator License with proper endorsements for 8th-grade Math or Dual Language Math.
- Deep understanding of curriculum design, lesson planning, and effective instructional strategies at the middle school level.
- Exceptional communication skills, both written and spoken.
- Experience fostering positive relationships with students and collaborating with school teams.
Key Responsibilities:
- Deliver engaging and standards-aligned math instruction to 8th grade students.
- Integrate differentiated teaching to support diverse learning needs, including support for English Language Learners for the Dual Language role.
- Participate in planning, assessment, and professional development activities throughout the academic year.
- Maintain accurate records of student progress and communicate regularly with families and colleagues.
- Create a welcoming, inclusive classroom culture focused on academic growth and student well-being.
As part of this role, you’ll work the full academic year from August 17 through May 27, providing consistency and connection for your students. You'll join a school deeply invested in student success and your professional development.
