Degree in Radiologic Technology, Certification in Radiologic Technology (ARRT Certification), and minimum 1+ years Radiology Tech experience required. Applicants who do not meet these qualifications will not be considered.

Embark on an exciting role in a dynamic teaching hospital setting, specializing in high-acuity imaging for both adult and pediatric patient populations. This position calls for a skilled Radiology/X-ray Technologist able to navigate various areas within the department, from emergency to operating rooms, and deliver excellent imaging care in a busy environment.

Schedule/Hours:

  • 12-hour night shifts, Friday–Sunday, 6:30pm–7:00am (36 hours/week)
  • No on-call or call-back requirements
  • No weekend/weekday rotations—consistent fixed schedule for the contract duration
  • Expectation to work holidays if they fall on assigned shifts

Qualifications/Desired Experience:

  • Active ARRT-R certification and BLS required
  • Minimum 2 years acute care experience, with trauma facility background (Levels I–III)
  • Proficiency in general X-ray, trauma imaging, portables, and surgical imaging (C-arm experience required, O-arm preferred)
  • Comfortable working with pediatric, neonatal, and adult patients in fast-paced, high-acuity scenarios
  • EPIC EMR experience required
  • Excellent communication, confidence in clinical skills, and a collaborative attitude
  • Willingness to precept x-ray students (as needed)
  • First-time travelers welcome with qualifying trauma experience

Responsibilities:

  • Perform a full range of X-ray procedures, including trauma, neuro, orthopedic, and general surgical imaging
  • Deliver patient-centered care in ED, OR, main radiology suites, and with portable X-ray equipment
  • Rotate between department areas each shift, but always within X-ray and portable modalities
  • Collaborate with an interdisciplinary team, including radiologists, residents, and techs
  • Maintain equipment standards and adhere to department protocols

$1,579 - $1,728/Week Estimated weekly earnings represent hourly wages, based on 36 hours per week, and expense reimbursement for eligible candidates. The actual amount may vary based on hours worked, eligibility for reimbursements, and seasonal adjustments.
