Role Overview:
This position includes two key responsibilities depending on assignment: customer service or dispensing. Customer service technicians manage vital pharmacy information such as verifying shipping details, entering new patient data, and updating profiles using the Wellsky pharmacy order entry system. Dispensing technicians focus on accurately filling and dispensing approximately 1,000 prescriptions daily, without automation.

Key Responsibilities:

• Verify and input shipping information accurately
• Enter and update new or existing patient profiles in Wellsky software
• Dispense medications following established pharmacy processes
• Ensure compliance with pharmacy practice and safety standards
• Collaborate effectively with the pharmacy team to maintain workflow

Desired Experience and Qualifications:

• Previous experience as a Pharmacy Technician in retail, mail order, or specialty pharmacy settings preferred
• Proficiency with pharmacy software, ideally Wellsky
• Strong attention to detail and organizational skills
• Excellent communication skills for customer service roles
• Ability to work independently during evening shifts
