Job Description
Embark on an engaging opportunity as a Speech-Language Pathologist, providing vital services to elementary students in a dynamic educational setting near Mishicot, WI. This full-time contract role spans 37.5 hours per week, covering a leave from September 26 to January 6, with the potential for extension if needed. You’ll impact students’ communication skills and collaborate with dedicated professionals, all within one supportive school site.
Qualifications:
- Current or eligible Wisconsin licensure as a Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP)
- CCC-SLP credentials preferred, but Clinical Fellows (CFs) are encouraged to apply
- School-based SLP experience is valued, but strong clinical skills and a passion for pediatric care are just as essential
- Excellent communication, organization, and collaboration abilities
- Ability to provide assessments, interventions, and progress reports in accordance with IEP requirements
Key Responsibilities:
- Manage and deliver comprehensive speech and language services for a diverse caseload of 46 elementary students
- Conduct evaluations, develop individualized education plans (IEPs), and collaborate with teachers, staff, and families to support student success
- Provide both direct and consultative services across a variety of speech and language needs
- Document student progress and maintain accurate records in compliance with district and state guidelines
- Participate in school meetings and contribute as a valued member of the educational team
