This full-time position is itinerant, covering multiple campuses with a varying caseload that spans Pre K-12 grade levels.
Qualifications and Experience:
- Must hold a Master’s or Doctorate in Physical Therapy
- Current Physical Therapist license through the Florida Department of Health
- Experience working with children or adolescents in educational or clinical settings is highly valued
- Ability to travel between assigned school sites within the district
- Must complete required fingerprinting and credentialing processes. Previous prints from Florida school districts may be transferable; clearance and JLA badge required before start date
Key Responsibilities:
- Deliver high-quality, on-site physical therapy services to students across Pre K-12
- Conduct evaluations, develop treatment plans, and provide direct therapy in accordance with IEP goals
- Collaborate with teachers, families, and interdisciplinary teams to maximize student outcomes
- Maintain accurate records and adhere to legal and ethical guidelines
- Adapt interventions to meet the diverse needs of each campus served
This contract runs from mid-August through late May, with a weekly schedule up to 37.5 hours. All services are provided in person at various school sites—no remote (VOCO) work.
