Social Worker in Parker, CO

Support and empower students as a contract school social worker in a dynamic educational setting near Parker, CO. Qualifications:

• Master’s degree in Social Work (MSW) from an accredited program
• Current state licensure as a School Social Worker or eligibility to obtain
• Experience working with diverse K-12 student populations in a school setting preferred
• Strong assessment, intervention, and counseling skills
• Ability to collaborate effectively with educators, families, and fellow support staff
• Excellent communication, crisis intervention, and organizational abilities

Responsibilities:

• Provide direct social-emotional counseling and intervention to students
• Assess students' needs through interviews, observation, and standardized tools
• Collaborate with teachers, administrators, and parents to develop strategies for student success
• Serve as a liaison between school, families, and community resources
• Participate in creation and implementation of support plans and Individualized Education Programs (IEPs)
• Offer crisis response and support as needed
• Conduct group and individual sessions addressing behavioral, emotional, and family challenges
