Step into a dynamic role providing essential physical therapy services to K-12 students, including some Pre-K, across multiple local schools. For the upcoming academic year, there is an immediate need for either one full-time or several part-time physical therapists to join a collaborative team. You’ll make a meaningful impact, delivering both direct and consultative therapy in a supportive, educational environment.

Key Qualifications:

  • Active Florida Physical Therapist license
  • Previous school-based experience is highly preferred, though strong candidates from other settings are welcome
  • Ability to provide therapy across K-12, including a limited Pre-K caseload
  • Adaptable to an itinerant model—visiting 2-3 schools daily as part of a team (caseload will be shared with another PT and a PTA)
  • Strong communication, organization, and time management skills

Role Responsibilities:

  • Deliver assessments and individualized/direct therapy services to students, ensuring goals and progress are documented
  • Collaborate with educators, families, and support staff for student success
  • Offer consultative and indirect services as needed within IEP teams
  • Maintain thorough and timely records and communications
  • Travel between assigned schools as part of your daily routine (transportation required)
  • Complete credentialing and orientation tasks per district protocols
