Job Description
Make a meaningful difference for students across grades 4K-8 as a Speech Language Pathologist in a vibrant educational setting located near Franklin, WI. This full-time, contract role spans from August 24th through June 4th, offering 37.5 hours per week. You'll work with a caseload including approximately 11 students with speech-only needs and support 10-20 IEPs where speech is a related service. Your expertise will help foster communication and academic success for a diverse group of young learners.
What we’re looking for:
- Active WI SLP license and DPI credentials required
- ASHA CCC-SLP strongly preferred; will consider strong CFY candidates
- Experience serving urban or multicultural student populations highly valued
- Skilled in school-based speech and language evaluation, therapy, and documentation
- Familiar with Child Find processes and special education compliance
- Excellent communication and teamwork skills
What you’ll do:
- Conduct comprehensive speech and language evaluations and assessments for referrals
- Deliver both direct and indirect therapy services according to IEPs
- Collaborate closely with educators, families, and support teams
- Document progress, maintain student records, and participate in IEP meetings
- Support Child Find services and referral processes
The compensation for this opportunity ranges from $45–$55 per hour, depending on experience and available budget.
