Desired Qualifications:

  • Master’s degree in Speech Language Pathology or Communication Disorders
  • Valid state licensure (or eligibility) to practice as a Speech Language Pathologist
  • Certification of Clinical Competence (CCC) from ASHA, or in the Clinical Fellowship Year (CFY)
  • Previous experience in a school setting is preferred, but strong new graduates are encouraged to apply
  • Excellent interpersonal skills and a commitment to collaboration and teamwork
  • Ability to develop and implement personalized therapy plans

Key Responsibilities:

  • Assess and identify speech, language, and hearing disorders in K-12 students
  • Develop, implement, and continually modify individualized therapy plans
  • Collaborate with teachers, parents, and special education staff to support student goals
  • Provide guidance and support to classroom teachers about communication strategies
  • Document and maintain detailed clinical records as required by district and state guidelines
  • Participate in IEP meetings and contribute valuable input to student plans
  • Engage in ongoing professional development to stay current with best practices
