Qualifications & Desired Experience:
- Master’s degree in Speech-Language Pathology from an accredited program
- Current state licensure or eligibility as a Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP)
- Certificate of Clinical Competence in Speech-Language Pathology (CCC-SLP)
- Previous experience within a school setting is preferred
- Strong communication, organization, and interpersonal skills
- Ability to develop and implement individualized education plans (IEPs)
Key Responsibilities:
- Provide direct and indirect speech-language therapy to students as specified by IEPs
- Conduct assessments, screenings, and evaluations to determine student needs
- Develop measurable goals and interventions, track progress, and update documentation
- Participate in IEP meetings, collaborating with multidisciplinary teams and families
- Offer strategies and support to teachers and administrators for student success in the classroom
- Maintain accurate records and comply with all district, state, and federal guidelines
