This opportunity is ideal for Speech-Language Pathologists (SLP) or Clinical Fellows (CFY) who are passionate about supporting children and young adults, including those with moderate to severe disabilities, in a dynamic school-based setting. With a consistent 37.5-hour full-time schedule, you'll gain valuable experience while helping students develop essential communication and life skills.

What you’ll do:

  • Plan and deliver impactful speech-language therapy sessions tailored to each student’s unique needs
  • Address a wide spectrum of challenges, including augmentative communication, social-pragmatic language, articulation, voice, oral-motor functioning, feeding, and both receptive and expressive language delays
  • Conduct thorough diagnostic and evaluation testing to assess student progress
  • Produce clear, comprehensive reports from your student assessments and daily observations
  • Collaborate with parents and fellow professionals to share insights and communicate each learner’s progress
  • Develop, implement, and update Individualized Education Program (IEP) goals to ensure ongoing student growth

  • Eligibility for, or possession of, a Delaware state SLP license
  • Experience with moderate to severe disabilities is highly valued
