We are seeking a dedicated Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP) for a full-time, school-based position in Anderson, SC for the 2026–2027 school year. Join a district that values teamwork and clinical support, with 16 SLPs/Ts currently on staff and a dedicated Lead SLP available for guidance and mentorship.
Key Responsibilities
- Provide speech and language therapy services to students in a school setting
- Conduct evaluations, assessments, and progress monitoring
- Develop and implement Individualized Education Programs (IEPs)
- Address communication disorders including articulation, language, fluency, voice, and social communication needs
- Collaborate with teachers, special education staff, families, and related service providers
- Maintain accurate documentation and ensure compliance with state and federal regulations
- Participate in IEP meetings and multidisciplinary team discussions
Qualifications
- Active South Carolina Speech-Language Pathologist License
- Master’s Degree in Speech-Language Pathology or Communication Disorders
- CCC-SLP preferred; qualified candidates with school-based experience are encouraged to apply
- Knowledge of IEP development, evaluations, and special education services
- Strong communication, organizational, and collaboration skills
