Speech Language Pathologist (SLP) in Stevensville, MD

Step into a rewarding Speech-Language Pathology opportunity supporting young learners in the Stevensville and surrounding areas, with a primary focus at a PreK-2 school in Centreville, MD. This contract position begins October 1 and runs through December 23, with a consistent weekday schedule of 7 hours each day (plus a half-hour unpaid lunch).

You’ll work with an engaged caseload of approximately 50 students, delivering direct therapy, conducting assessments, and managing cases to ensure every child has the support they need. This is a chance to make a significant impact at a formative stage in children's lives, collaborating with educators and families to help students achieve real progress in communication and learning.

Qualifications:

• Active Maryland State Speech-Language Pathology License
• Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC-SLP) required
• School-based SLP experience highly valued
• Background serving PreK-2 populations preferred
• Strong communication and collaboration skills

Responsibilities:

• Provide direct speech therapy services to PreK-2 students
• Conduct comprehensive speech and language assessments
• Develop and implement individualized therapy plans
• Engage in case management, including IEP documentation and collaboration with multidisciplinary teams
• Participate in parent and educator consultations to support student success
