Qualifications and Experience:
- Master’s degree in Speech-Language Pathology
- Active SLP licensure for Michigan (or eligibility to obtain)
- ASHA Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC-SLP) or Clinical Fellowship Year (CFY) candidates encouraged to apply
- Previous experience in school settings or pediatric populations preferred
- Excellent communication, organization, and interpersonal skills
- Strong commitment to supporting student development
Responsibilities:
- Provide direct speech and language therapy services to K-8 students as outlined in IEPs
- Assess, diagnose, and identify student needs related to speech, language, voice, and fluency
- Develop and implement individualized treatment plans and set appropriate goals
- Collaborate with teachers, support staff, and families to facilitate student progress
- Maintain accurate documentation and participate in IEP meetings
- Adapt lessons and interventions to suit a diverse range of learners
- Foster a positive and supportive learning atmosphere for all students
