Telehealth Speech Language Pathologist - New Mexico
Job Description
Degree in Speech-Language Pathology, active SLP license and 1+ year of Speech-Language Pathology experience required. Applicants who do not meet these qualifications will not be considered.
A contract opportunity is available for a Speech-Language Pathologist specializing in telespeech and teletherapy services within an educational setting. This role supports students remotely by delivering tailored speech-language interventions that foster communication development and improve academic success.
Responsibilities include:
- Conducting speech-language assessments and providing therapy sessions via teletherapy platforms.
- Developing individualized treatment plans based on student needs and progress.
- Collaborating with educators and support staff to integrate communication goals into the broader educational program.
- Maintaining accurate documentation and reporting on student outcomes in compliance with regulatory standards.
- Staying current with best practices and teletherapy technologies to optimize service delivery.
Desired qualifications and experience:
- Valid Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP) certification and licensure for the state of New Mexico.
- Proficiency in telespeech and teletherapy methods, with experience delivering remote services to children in school settings.
- Strong knowledge of speech, language, articulation, fluency, and communication disorders in pediatric populations.
- Ability to engage and motivate students through virtual platforms.
- Excellent communication skills for virtual collaboration with families, educators, and multidisciplinary teams.
- Familiarity with educational and therapeutic documentation requirements.
Position location is Montezuma, NM, with services delivered remotely to support students’ speech-language needs.
