Qualifications and Experience:
- Active SLPA licensure, meeting state requirements
- Previous experience supporting speech and language goals in a K-12 educational setting preferred
- Strong interpersonal skills and comfortable working in a team setting
- Ability to implement Individualized Education Program (IEP) goals under supervision of a licensed SLP
- Organizational skills for managing caseload and documentation
- Reliability for consistent onsite presence during agreed-upon hours
Key Responsibilities:
- Provide direct speech and language services to students as outlined in IEPs, under the supervision of a licensed Speech-Language Pathologist
- Assist in preparing therapy materials and activities, tracking student progress, and maintaining accurate records
- Support the SLP with data collection and progress reporting
- Communicate effectively with teachers, staff, and families to ensure continuity of care
- Participate actively in meetings and training as needed
- Foster a positive, inclusive environment for all students
