Job Description
Make a meaningful impact supporting students across regional schools as a Board Certified Behavior Analyst (BCBA) in a dynamic, full-time contract role. Beginning August 2026 and extending through May 2027, this position offers the chance to serve as an expert resource for school psychologists within an itinerant framework. You’ll collaborate on comprehensive evaluations, facilitate critical data collection, and shape behavioral interventions, positively influencing educational outcomes.
Responsibilities:
- Deliver consultative support to school psychologists (LSSPs) for Full Individual and Initial Evaluations (FIIEs)
- Conduct direct observations and Functional Behavior Assessments across various campuses
- Administer specialized assessment tools, including VB-MAPP, ABLLS-R, and AFLS, to identify and track student behavioral and language progress
- Assist in designing and monitoring behavior intervention plans tailored to individual student needs
- Maintain up-to-date, accurate documentation in compliance with district and state guidelines
- Facilitate ongoing communication with educational teams and families as appropriate
Qualifications:
- Current and active TX BCBA license is required
- Demonstrated school-based experience is highly preferred
- Strong foundational skills in behavioral assessment and consultation
- Proficiency with standardized assessment tools and reporting
- Excellent interpersonal, collaborative, and documentation abilities
- Must be able to complete TEA fingerprint clearance if not previously processed—please allow at least 7 days for results before your target start date
- Flexible to travel within assigned district regions (itinerant role)
- Comfortable working on-site (virtual placements not available)
