This contract nursing position offers an immersive experience within a high-acuity setting recognized as both a Level 3 Trauma and Center of Excellence for stroke, bariatric surgery, and chest pain.

Schedule & Hours:

  • 12-hour day shifts: 7:00 AM – 7:00 PM
  • 36 hours per week
  • Average of 6 on-call shifts per 6-week scheduling cycle (45-minute response time required)
  • Weekend rotation: every 4th weekend (coverage may be scheduled or on-call)
  • Expectation to work 75% of holidays

Key Qualifications:

  • Active RN license and BLS required; CNOR preferred
  • Minimum of 5 years’ recent operating room experience
  • Strong ability to circulate for a range of specialties: Trauma, ortho trauma, hearts, vascular, spine, GYN, Robotics, General, Bariatrics, Urology, ENT, Eyes, Pain, Plastics
  • Charge RN experience and scrubbing proficiency necessary for night shift roles
  • Flexibility, motivation, and strong collaboration skills, especially for managing emergent cases during night shifts
  • Prior travel experience required

Role Responsibilities:

  • Circulate and assist in a broad spectrum of surgical specialties, consistently adapting to complex and high-volume caseloads in 19 dedicated OR suites
  • Rotate in on-call and weekend coverage as scheduled, ensuring critical surgical services remain available
  • Contribute to a robust, team-based Department culture, working closely with supervising RNs, surgical techs, educators, and support staff
  • Participate in orientation, benefit from well-supported onboarding, and maintain high professional standards

$1,685 - $1,843/Week Estimated weekly earnings represent hourly wages, based on 36 hours per week, and expense reimbursement for eligible candidates. The actual amount may vary based on hours worked, eligibility for reimbursements, and seasonal adjustments.
