Pharmacy Technician - San Luis Obispo, California

Certified Pharmacy Technician (CPhT) certification and 1+ years Pharmacy Technician experience required. Applicants who do not meet these qualifications will not be considered.

This opportunity is for a Pharmacy Technician experienced in chemotherapy admixture, based at an infusion center on California's Central Coast. The role involves supporting an integrated health system’s pharmacy services by preparing and dispensing medications, with an emphasis on oncology treatments.

Schedule:

• Monday through Friday
• Day shifts

Responsibilities:

• Prepare and verify chemotherapy admixtures in compliance with safety and regulatory standards
• Support pharmacy operations within the infusion center, ensuring accurate medication management
• Collaborate with pharmacists and healthcare professionals to provide high-quality patient care
• Maintain proper documentation and adherence to protocols for oncology medication preparation

Qualifications and Desired Experience:

• Current California Pharmacy Technician license required
• Proven experience working with chemotherapy admixtures and oncology pharmacy procedures
• Ability to work full-time and commit to a 13-week assignment
• Strong attention to detail and adherence to safety standards in sterile preparation environments
