Speech Language Pathologist (SLP) in Winsted, CT

Step into a fulfilling role supporting students across a diverse K-12 population as a Speech Language Pathologist for the 2026-2027 academic year. This contract opportunity spans from August 2026 through June 2027, providing services throughout multiple school sites in a districtwide capacity. Key Qualifications:

• Master’s degree in Speech-Language Pathology from an accredited program
• Valid Certificate of Clinical Competence in Speech-Language Pathology (SLP-CCC)
• State licensure (or eligibility) for Speech-Language Pathology in Connecticut
• Experience working with K-12 students in a school setting preferred
• Strong interpersonal skills and the ability to work effectively within multidisciplinary teams
• Commitment to in-person services (remote candidates will not be considered)

Role Responsibilities:

• Deliver direct and consultative speech and language therapy to a diverse K-12 caseload across several schools
• Develop, implement, and monitor Individualized Education Plans (IEPs)
• Conduct assessments, interpret results, and participate in IEP meetings
• Collaborate closely with educators, administrators, and families to support student progress
• Maintain accurate documentation as required by district and state guidelines
• Engage in ongoing professional development and district initiatives
