Job Description
Embark on a fulfilling contract opportunity supporting secondary students as a Speech-Language Pathologist in a dynamic school-based setting near Jarrell, TX. Beginning August 10, 2026, and running through May 26, 2026, this engaging role spans three campuses and serves a caseload of 50-60 students. This position is ideal for experienced SLPs (CCC) and Clinical Fellows; while full CCC credentials are preferred, applications from strong CF candidates with an active Texas SLP Intern License are certainly welcomed.
What You'll Bring:
- Master’s degree in Speech-Language Pathology or Communication Disorders
- Active Texas SLP License or SLP Intern License (for CFs)
- Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC) preferred; open to outstanding CF candidates
- Experience or strong interest in working with secondary students in a school setting
- Excellent communication, collaboration, and organizational skills
Your Responsibilities:
- Deliver comprehensive speech and language therapy services to students across three secondary campuses
- Evaluate, assess, and develop individualized treatment plans for a caseload of 50-60 students
- Collaborate closely with teachers, parents, and multidisciplinary teams to support academic and social success
- Maintain accurate documentation and progress reports in alignment with school and state guidelines
- Participate in IEP meetings, providing input and updates for student goals and progress
