Job Description
Seeking an enthusiastic and skilled physical therapist to provide part-time support for a K-12 student caseload. This contract position offers the opportunity to work across four school sites, helping to deliver meaningful physical therapy services where they matter most.
You’ll work 24 hours per week, typically distributed over 3 to 4 days, supporting approximately 14 students. The assignment runs from September 8th to May 28th. Your days will be varied and engaging as you collaborate with educational teams and families to support student progress.
Qualifications & Experience:
- Valid Physical Therapist (PT) license in Wisconsin
- Prior experience in a school-based or pediatric setting preferred
- Strong evaluation, documentation, and communication skills
- Ability to manage a diverse K-12 caseload effectively
- Reliable transportation to travel between four school sites
Key Responsibilities:
- Conduct initial evaluations and ongoing assessments for K-12 students
- Develop and implement individualized care plans to address student needs
- Deliver direct therapy services in compliance with IEP goals and school protocols
- Collaborate with teachers, families, and multidisciplinary teams to ensure optimal outcomes
- Maintain accurate documentation and participate in IEP meetings as required
- Adjust therapy interventions based on student progress
