Speech Language Pathologist in Pittsford, NY

Make a difference every day by supporting students with developmental disabilities and autism through your expertise as a full-time Speech-Language Pathologist on a contract basis. As an SLP, you'll collaborate with educators, families, and allied professionals to deliver evidence-based interventions and meaningful outcomes. Your commitment to individualized care will help foster progress and independence in every child you serve.

Desired Qualifications:

• Valid Speech-Language Pathology license in New York State
• Certificate of Clinical Competence in Speech-Language Pathology (CCC-SLP)
• Prior experience working with students in schools, particularly with developmental disabilities and autism
• Exceptional interpersonal and communication skills
• Ability to adapt therapy strategies to accommodate diverse learning styles and abilities
• Strong documentation and organizational abilities

Key Responsibilities:

• Conduct comprehensive speech, language, and communication assessments
• Develop, implement, and monitor individualized treatment plans
• Collaborate with educational staff, therapists, and families to support student progress
• Maintain accurate records of evaluations, sessions, and progress reports
• Participate in IEP meetings and contribute to multidisciplinary teams
