School Speech Language Pathologist - Frisco, Texas

Step into a meaningful contract role serving students across both junior high and elementary settings near Frisco, TX. This position is ideal for a Speech-Language Pathologist who holds their CCC credential and has experience working in a school environment. You’ll have the unique opportunity to support students during two maternity leaves—first at junior high and elementary levels through October, then transitioning to high school coverage later in the fall semester. This is a full-time, onsite assignment with a 37.5-hour workweek.

Qualifications:

• Active Speech-Language Pathology license required
• Certificate of Clinical Competence in Speech-Language Pathology (SLP-CCC)
• Previous school-based SLP experience strongly preferred
• Flexible and able to transition between different age groups and campuses
• Solid communication, organization, and collaboration skills

Responsibilities:

• Deliver speech and language therapy services to a diverse school-age population, supporting both junior high and elementary students initially, and high school students during a secondary assignment
• Conduct thorough assessments, develop and implement individualized education plans (IEPs), and monitor student progress
• Collaborate closely with teachers, administrators, and families to ensure student needs are met
• Maintain accurate documentation and comply with all state/local requirements for special education services
• Provide recommendations and strategies for supporting communication goals within the classroom
