Job Description
Step into a rewarding contract opportunity supporting K-12 students as a Speech-Language Pathologist for the upcoming 2026-2027 school year. Key Qualifications:
- Active SLP license and ASHA Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC-SLP) required
- Prior experience in a school-based setting supporting K-12 students strongly preferred
- Solid understanding of speech, language, and communication disorders
- Ability to develop and implement individualized education plans (IEPs)
- Collaborative, team-oriented approach to working with educators, families, and other specialists
- Strong communication, organization, and documentation skills
Primary Responsibilities:
- Conduct speech-language screenings and comprehensive evaluations for K-12 students
- Develop, implement, and monitor individualized therapy plans
- Collaborate with teachers and other support staff to integrate strategies in classroom environments
- Maintain timely and accurate documentation for student records and IEP meetings
- Engage and counsel families, providing progress updates and resources
- Participate in multidisciplinary team meetings and contribute expertise to support student outcomes
- Adapt therapy to meet diverse needs and varying caseloads throughout the school year
