Speech Language Pathologist in Springville, AL

Make an impact by supporting elementary students as an onsite Speech-Language Pathologist in a vibrant school environment. This contract opportunity runs from August 3, 2026, through May 28, 2027, with a Monday through Friday schedule from 7:30 AM to 3 PM. You’ll work with a manageable caseload of approximately 50 students, delivering direct services and collaborating with educators to promote student success.

What You’ll Need:

• Current State Speech-Language Pathologist license (SLP)
• Certificate of Clinical Competence in Speech-Language Pathology (CCC-SLP)
• State educator certification or eligibility for certification
• Previous experience in school-based settings, especially with elementary-aged children, preferred
• Excellent communication, documentation, and organizational skills
• Creativity and adaptability in developing treatment plans and instructional materials

How You’ll Make a Difference:

• Conduct speech and language assessments for elementary students
• Develop and implement individualized education plans (IEPs)
• Deliver evidence-based therapy—both one-on-one and in groups—to support speech, language, and communication development
• Maintain thorough, up-to-date documentation in accordance with district/state requirements
• Work closely with teachers, parents, and other professionals to track student progress and adjust approaches
• Educate and provide resources to school staff and families regarding language development and strategies for support
