Pediatric Speech Language Pathologist in Addison, IL

Embark on a rewarding contract role providing speech-language pathology services to elementary students, just outside of Addison, IL. This full-time position will support a short-term need, covering a maternity leave for the first 12 weeks of the school year starting in August. You'll offer compassionate, evidence-based care to young learners, making a meaningful impact during an essential stage in their development.

Qualifications & Experience:

• Master’s degree in Speech-Language Pathology from an accredited program
• Valid SLP license for the state
• ASHA Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC) or Clinical Fellowship Year (CFY) consideration
• Prior experience in school, pediatric, or healthcare settings preferred
• Strong communication and collaborative skills
• Commitment to fostering growth and success for elementary-aged students

Responsibilities:

• Provide direct speech and language intervention to a diverse elementary caseload
• Conduct screenings, evaluations, and re-evaluations
• Develop and implement individualized education plans (IEPs)
• Collaborate closely with teachers, administrators, and families
• Maintain accurate and timely documentation of student progress
• Support students’ communication needs within the classroom setting
• Contribute to IEP meetings and multidisciplinary teams as needed
