Embark on a rewarding contract opportunity as a School Psychologist, providing vital support to students across K-12 settings near Lakewood, OH. This itinerant position runs from August 6, 2026, through May 28, 2027, offering you the chance to work with a respected school district that values professional growth and collaboration. You'll engage with diverse student populations, contributing to a positive learning environment, Monday through Friday, for a steady 40-hour workweek.
Responsibilities:
- Conduct comprehensive psychological and academic evaluations for students K-12
- Develop, implement, and monitor individualized education plans (IEPs)
- Collaborate with teachers, administrators, and families to support student success
- Provide crisis intervention and counseling as needed
- Consult with staff and parents on academic, behavioral, and social-emotional interventions
- Maintain accurate and confidential documentation in compliance with state and federal regulations
- Support a culture of inclusion and advocate for students’ diverse needs across multiple campuses
Desired Qualifications:
- Active School Psychologist licensure in the state
- Master’s degree or higher in School Psychology or related field
- Experience with K-12 students in a school setting
- Strong knowledge of assessment tools, intervention strategies, and special education processes
- Exceptional communication, teamwork, and organizational skills
- Ability to travel between school sites in an itinerant capacity
