Job Description
A hospital in Boston, MA is seeking a Pharmacist to fill a contract position starting ASAP, with a duration of 3+ months. This role focuses on providing expert inpatient pharmacy services within an esteemed hospital setting.
Responsibilities:
- Dispense and manage inpatient medications accurately and efficiently
- Collaborate with healthcare teams to optimize patient medication therapy
- Ensure compliance with hospital policies, regulations, and safety protocols
- Utilize pharmacy systems, with preference for candidates experienced in EPIC
- Monitor patient progress and adjust medication plans as needed
Qualifications / Desired Experience:
- Active Massachusetts Pharmacy License required
- Minimum of 2 years of hospital pharmacy experience preferred
- Familiarity with inpatient pharmacy operations and protocols
- EPIC software experience is strongly preferred
- Strong communication skills and ability to work effectively in a multidisciplinary team
