Qualifications & Experience:

  • Current state license to practice occupational therapy is required
  • Active IVP Fingerprint Clearance Card (IVP FP Card) must be presented at onboarding
  • Previous experience working in school-based settings is strongly preferred
  • Ability to support a diverse caseload across PreK–8th grade
  • Strong communication and organizational skills
  • Commitment to fostering inclusive and accessible learning environments

Primary Responsibilities:

  • Assess students’ motor, sensory, cognitive, and psychosocial abilities within the school environment
  • Develop and implement individualized therapy plans to promote student participation and independence
  • Collaborate with teachers, support professionals, and families to ensure cohesive care
  • Document student progress, maintain detailed records, and contribute to IEP meetings as needed
  • Provide direct therapy services and adaptive strategies to foster engagement in daily school activities
  • Stay current on best practices and regulatory standards in school-based occupational therapy
