We are seeking a detail-oriented Warehouse Clerk to support daily fulfillment operations at a high-volume fulfillment center in the West Phoenix area. You will spend your day working in warehouse systems, running reports, tracking inventory movement, and keeping order and replenishment queues accurate and current.
Key Responsibilities
- Systems & Data Entry: Work daily in the warehouse management system (WMS) and order management platform to enter, update, and verify inventory, order, and shipment records.
- Reporting: Pull, print, and distribute operational reports throughout the shift. Maintain running reports in Excel and Google Sheets so leadership has current visibility on order status and inventory position.
- Inventory Control: Perform cycle counts, research and resolve count discrepancies, and process inventory adjustments with proper documentation.
- Order & Replenishment Support: Monitor open order and replenishment queues, prioritize aging tasks, place orders on hold or release them as directed, and flag anything at risk of missing a ship deadline.
- Receiving & Shipping Documentation: Verify inbound receipts against packing lists and purchase orders, prepare shipping paperwork and labels, and maintain organized digital and physical records.
- Returns Processing: Log returned merchandise, record disposition, and update system records accurately.
- Cross-Team Communication: Coordinate daily with supervisors, leads, and floor associates by radio, email, and messaging platforms. Escalate discrepancies, delays, and system issues promptly.
- Accuracy & Follow-Up: Research exceptions until they are resolved. Do not let open items sit.
Requirements & Qualifications
- Experience: Minimum 6 months in a warehouse, distribution, fulfillment, inventory, retail back-office, or comparable administrative role. Fulfillment center experience preferred.
- Computer Skills (Required): Comfortable working on a computer for extended periods. Working knowledge of Excel and Google Sheets, including entering data, sorting and filtering, and basic formulas.
- Systems Experience (Preferred): WMS or ERP platforms (NetSuite, Manhattan, or similar), RF scanners, barcode systems, email and messaging platforms such as Outlook, Gmail, or Slack.
- Attention to Detail: Ability to accurately read and reconcile SKU numbers, order numbers, pick tickets, and shipping documents.
- Organization: Ability to manage multiple open tasks and priorities in a fast-paced environment without losing track of follow-ups.
- Physical Requirements: Ability to move throughout the facility during the shift, lift up to 25 lbs occasionally, and work in a warehouse environment with varying temperatures.
- Reliability: Strong track record of attendance and punctuality.
Benefits
We value our team members and offer a benefits package, including:
- Health, Dental, & Vision Insurance
- 401(k)
- Paid Sick Leave
Salary/Compensation: $16.00 - $18.00 per hour
