Desired Qualifications:
- Current BCBA certification, in good standing
- Previous experience in a school or educational setting preferred
- Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills
- Strong analytical and organizational abilities
- Ability to collaborate with multidisciplinary teams and adapt to diverse student needs
- Familiarity with functional behavior assessments and positive behavior support plans
Primary Responsibilities:
- Develop, implement, and monitor individualized behavior intervention plans for students
- Conduct assessments to evaluate behavior and guide interventions
- Consult with educators, support staff, and families to ensure effective strategies are in place
- Provide direct services to students, including modeling techniques and coaching staff
- Track progress, collect data, and modify approaches as necessary for optimal outcomes
- Deliver training to teachers and paraprofessionals on behavior management techniques
- Participate in IEP meetings and contribute expertise on behavioral goals
