This contract opportunity offers experienced Operating Room RNs the chance to collaborate within a high-volume department featuring 19 modern OR suites and averaging 50 diverse cases per day, including trauma, ortho trauma, robotics, general, vascular, GYN-oncology, and more.

Schedule details:

  • 12-hour day shifts (7:00 am – 7:00 pm), 36 hours per week
  • Average of 6 call shifts per 6-week cycle (with 45-minute response required)
  • Weekend rotation every 4th weekend, which may include call or a scheduled shift
  • Holiday coverage: 75% of major holidays

Qualifications:

  • Active RN license and BLS certification required; CNOR preferred
  • Minimum of 5 years Operating Room RN experience
  • Demonstrated ability to circulate in a wide range of specialties, including trauma, ortho trauma, total joints, spine, MI vascular, GYN, robotics, and more
  • Proficiency in laparoscopic and open abdominal procedures, ortho trauma, cysto, vascular, and (ideally) robotics
  • Excellent flexibility, self-motivation, and teamwork skills required; must be able to adapt to varied case requests, especially during night hours
  • Experience as a Charge RN and scrub proficiency strongly preferred for night positions
  • Permanent address must be at least 50 miles from unit

Responsibilities:

  • Circulate in a variety of challenging and complex surgical cases
  • Collaborate and communicate effectively with a multidisciplinary perioperative team
  • Rotate weekends and participate in scheduled call shifts, ensuring rapid response times
  • Maintain patient safety and follow protocols in a Level 3 Trauma and specialty care setting
  • Adhere to department policies and support a collaborative culture

$1,685 - $1,843/Week Estimated weekly earnings represent hourly wages, based on 36 hours per week, and expense reimbursement for eligible candidates. The actual amount may vary based on hours worked, eligibility for reimbursements, and seasonal adjustments.
