Desired Qualifications:

  • Master’s degree in Speech-Language Pathology from an accredited institution
  • Current Certificate of Clinical Competence in Speech-Language Pathology (CCC-SLP) strongly preferred
  • Experience delivering speech-language therapy in school settings
  • Active North Carolina SLP license is strongly preferred; eligibility to obtain required
  • Strong understanding of IEP processes, compliance, and data-driven practice
  • Excellent communication, organization, and interpersonal skills

Role Responsibilities:

  • Provide direct speech-language therapy to a caseload of around 43 students in a supportive K–5 school environment
  • Assess, diagnose, and develop individualized treatment plans tailored to student needs
  • Conduct comprehensive evaluations, document progress, and update goals as needed
  • Collaborate closely with teachers, administrators, and families on IEP teams
  • Maintain timely and compliant records of all services and interventions
  • Consult with classroom educators to support generalization of skills throughout the school day
  • Deliver therapy and consultation services in accordance with school district and state guidelines

This contract position offers a consistent Monday–Friday schedule (37.5 hours/week) from August 10, 2026, through May 28, 2027. Enjoy the satisfaction of helping students reach their communication goals all school year long.
