This contract assignment provides the opportunity to collaborate directly with educators, families, and multidisciplinary teams to foster students' functional skills, confidence, and independence throughout the school year.

Desired Qualifications:
• Current and valid Occupational Therapist (OTR/L) licensure
• Previous experience working in school-based settings, or a strong interest in pediatric and educational therapy
• Familiarity with developing and implementing IEPs, conducting assessments, and employing a wide range of therapeutic strategies
• Strong communication skills for engaging with staff, students, and caregivers
• Adaptability and creativity in addressing student needs
• Must be able to work independently as a licensed OT (no COTAs for this position)

Key Responsibilities:
• Assess students’ abilities, develop individualized treatment plans, and deliver direct and consultative occupational therapy services within school guidelines
• Collaborate with teachers, administrators, and other professionals to develop and implement IEP goals
• Promote inclusion and access by providing staff with recommendations and accommodations
• Maintain detailed documentation, progress notes, and reports in compliance with district and legal requirements
• Participate in team meetings, contribute to multidisciplinary planning, and help students attain greater independence in school activities
• Support students across a variety of grades and regularly adapt interventions to meet changing needs
