Job Description
Step into a rewarding opportunity as a contract-based Speech-Language Pathologist supporting middle and high school students in an engaging and dynamic educational setting. This full-time, onsite role runs from August 24, 2026, through June 10, 2027, with a schedule of 35 hours each week. You’ll be collaborating with a dedicated team to address general speech and language needs for students within an urban district, focusing on their communication skills to foster academic success and personal growth.
Key Qualifications:
- Active SLP license with CCC certification and prior school-based SLP experience
- Familiarity with middle and high school caseloads
- Experience working in urban educational environments
- Ability to complete and maintain all required Pennsylvania clearances
- Reliable transportation required for timely onsite attendance
- Flexible within the 7:15AM to 4PM window (no adjustment to schedule available)
- Comfortable with the onsite district environment and location specifics
Primary Responsibilities:
- Deliver direct speech and language services to students in both group and individual settings
- Develop, implement, and monitor individualized student plans in accordance with district guidelines
- Collaborate with staff, administration, and families to support student outcomes
- Maintain thorough documentation of case management and assessments
- Participate in multidisciplinary team meetings and contribute to IEP processes
- Communicate effectively with staff and families regarding student progress
