CVOR Registered Nurse - Operating room - La Mesa, California

Nursing degree, active registered nurse (RN) license and minimum 1+ years CVOR RN experience required. Applicants who do not meet these qualifications will not be considered.

• 0630-1500

Required Qualifications:

• Active California Registered Nurse license from the CA Board of Registered Nursing
• Minimum of 2 years of recent clinical experience, directly relevant to CVOR work
• Current American Heart Association Basic Life Support (AHA BLS) for Healthcare Professionals certification
• Demonstrated proficiency in open heart, circulating, and cardiac robotic procedures within the CVOR setting

Preferred Qualifications:

• Previous leadership experience within an acute care or surgical setting
• Experience with assessing and enhancing staff competencies
• Scrub experience in cardiovascular or related procedures
• Strong physician relations and communication skills
• Ability to liaise effectively with sterile processing teams

Key Responsibilities:

• Deliver exceptional intraoperative care during complex cardiovascular procedures, ensuring optimal patient outcomes
• Collaborate closely with surgeons, anesthesiologists, and interdisciplinary team members
• Maintain a safe, compliant, and well-prepared surgical environment at all times
• Support the assessment and improvement of team competencies, fostering ongoing professional development
• Facilitate seamless communication and coordination with sterile processing and other support teams to maintain workflow efficiency
