This direct hire pharmacist position offers an opportunity to make a meaningful impact on patient care while working Monday through Friday, 7:00 am to 3:30 pm, with consistent 8-hour day shifts.

Key Responsibilities:
- Compound and dispense medications per physician instructions accurately.
- Consult with medical staff regarding drug interactions, patient history, and medication use.
- Respond to patient inquiries about medication indications and dosages.
- Ensure compliance with pharmacy regulations and maintain accurate records.
- Verify dosing appropriateness based on diagnosis, weight, age, and body surface area.
- Identify and intervene in drug therapy problems such as allergies and adverse effects.
- Initiate and suggest cost-effective drug therapies when appropriate.
- Monitor and evaluate non-formulary drug needs.
- Guarantee the quality and labeling standards of all medications dispensed.
- Prioritize and efficiently process medication orders.
- Participate in patient care rounds and provide therapeutic recommendations.
- Educate patients, technicians, pharmacists, and students.
- Manage medication ordering and inventory control effectively.
Qualifications / Desired Experience:
- Active Arkansas pharmacist license
- Minimum 2 years inpatient pharmacy experience
- IV experience or IV certification required
- Board Certified Pharmacotherapy Specialist (BCPS) preferred
