Customer Care and Order Processing Coordinator

Location: King's LynnHours: 9:00am - 3:30pm/4:00pm, Monday to FridayReporting to: Client Care Lead

We are seeking a proactive and customer-focused Client Care Assistant to join a busy team. This role is responsible for delivering an exceptional customer experience by managing customer enquiries, processing orders efficiently, tracking deliveries, and providing outstanding after-sales support.

\n

The successful candidate will be highly organised, possess excellent attention to detail, and thrive in a fast-paced environment. You will work closely with customers, the sales team, and warehouse colleagues to ensure orders are delivered on time and in full while maintaining the highest levels of customer satisfaction.

Key Responsibilities

  • Respond to customer enquiries via telephone, email, and online channels.
  • \n
  • Build and maintain strong customer relationships through professional and proactive communication.
  • \n
  • Provide after-sales support, resolving customer queries and issues promptly.
  • \n
  • Manage a high volume of customer interactions while meeting service level agreements.
  • \n
  • Receive, prioritise and process customer orders accurately and efficiently.
  • \n
  • Allocate, track and monitor orders from receipt through to delivery.
  • \n
  • Process customer returns and maintain accurate records.
  • \n
  • Liaise with warehouse teams to ensure timely order fulfilment and shipment.
  • \n
  • Maintain accurate customer and order data within company systems.
  • \n
  • Identify opportunities to improve processes and enhance the customer experience.

Skills and Experience

Essential:

  • Previous experience in a customer service, order processing, sales support, or administration role.
  • \n
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
  • \n
  • Strong organisational and time management abilities.
  • \n
  • Accurate data entry and administrative skills.
  • \n
  • Experience resolving customer issues professionally.
  • \n
  • Ability to prioritise workloads and work to deadlines.
  • \n
  • Strong attention to detail.
  • \n
  • Proficient in Microsoft Outlook, Excel and Word.
  • \n
  • Experience using CRM and ERP systems.
  • \n
  • Positive, can-do attitude and strong team ethic.

Desirable:

  • Business Administration qualification.
  • \n
  • NVQ Level 2 in Customer Service or equivalent.
  • \n
  • Previous experience within a distribution, wholesale, manufacturing, or battery-related environment.
  • \n
  • 2-3 years' experience in a customer service, administration, finance support, or data-entry role.
  • \n
