Graduate Geotechnical Engineer - CambridgeSalary: £28,000 - £32,000 (dependent on experience)
\nA leading engineering consultancy is looking to appoint a Graduate Geotechnical Engineer to join their growing team in Cambridge. This is an excellent opportunity for a recent graduate to develop their technical skills across a range of exciting geotechnical projects, working alongside experienced engineers and specialists.
\nThe successful candidate will be involved in a variety of ground investigation, geotechnical design and reporting projects across residential, commercial and infrastructure sectors. You will gain hands-on experience both in the office and on site, developing your understanding of ground conditions, soil behaviour and engineering solutions.
\nKey responsibilities:

- Assisting with the planning and delivery of ground investigations \n
- Logging soils and rocks in accordance with industry standards \n
- Preparing factual and interpretative ground investigation reports \n
- Supporting geotechnical assessments and calculations \n
- Carrying out site visits and monitoring works \n
- Assisting senior engineers with geotechnical design solutions \n
- Interpreting site investigation data and laboratory test results \n
- Working with multidisciplinary teams on a range of projects \n
Requirements:

- BSc or MSc degree in Geotechnical Engineering, Engineering Geology, Civil Engineering or a related subject \n
- A strong academic background with an interest in geotechnical engineering \n
- Good written and verbal communication skills \n
- A willingness to work both in the office and on site \n
- Full UK driving licence (or working towards one) would be advantageous \n
