People Advisor

Location: Stanmore

Contract: Temporary, approximately 2–3 months

Hours: 40 hours per week

Rate: c.£20.20 per hour (£42,000 annual equivalent)

Start: Anticipated start by mid-August

Are you an experienced People Advisor who can quickly step into a busy HR environment and provide confident, hands-on support?

We are recruiting a temporary People Advisor to join a collaborative People team during an important period of change. Working closely with the People team, you will provide practical HR advice and operational support across the full employee lifecycle, helping to maintain a responsive and effective HR service.

This is a varied role requiring someone who can get up to speed quickly, confidently support managers and employees, and bring strong employee relations knowledge alongside excellent attention to detail.

Key Skills and Experience required:

•Broad experience supporting the full employee lifecycle

•Strong employee relations knowledge and practical case-management experience

•A sound understanding of UK employment law and HR best practice

•The confidence to advise managers and recognise when more complex matters should be escalated

•A data-centric approach, with excellent attention to detail and confidence working with HR data

•Previous experience using HRIS systems

•Strong organisational and communication skills

•The ability to manage competing priorities in a busy environment

•A professional and discreet approach when handling confidential information

•The ability to join a new team and make an immediate contribution
