As a Semi Senior Audit / Accounts Manager, you’ll be trusted to take ownership, work with a variety of clients, producing a variety of work, keeping the role interesting and diverse. No one is expecting you to have all the experience below, however, this role would be ideal for someone who wants to build on their current exposure of working in an accountancy firm. This role is pretty much a 50/50 split between Accounts and Audit. Reporting to a Partner, you will be responsible for:\n

- Preparing and reviewing year end accounts \n
- Producing financial statements and management account packs \n
- Ensuring compliance with accounting standards, regulations, and tax laws \n
- Completing quarterly and annual corporate tax returns, as well as personal tax returns and P11Ds \n
- Resolving client queries and maintaining strong client relationships \n
- Planning, executing, and overseeing audits for a diverse client base (£500k–£20m turnover) \n
- Carrying out audit fieldwork and ensuring files are ready for review \n
- Mentoring and supporting junior audit team members \n
- Identifying and resolving issues during audits \n

- Previous experience in an accountancy firm in a similar role (such as Audit Senior, Accounts Senior, or Assistant Manager) \n
- Strong technical accounting skills \n
- Excellent business partnering and communication skills \n
- A genuine desire to take ownership and see things through \n
