Production TechnicianDiss, NorfolkSalary up to £30k doeRotating shifts: 6.00am - 2.00pm and 2.00pm - 10.00pm (weekly rotation) Michelle Denny Recruitment is recruiting on behalf of a respected manufacturing business in Diss for an experienced Production Technician, with a salary of up to c £30,000pa doe. This is a hands on production role, suited to someone who enjoys solving problems, keeping manufacturing running smoothly and taking pride in producing quality work. Working as part of an established production team, you'll play an important role in maintaining output, supporting colleagues and ensuring products are manufactured to a consistently high standard. Previous manufacturing experience is essential. Experience within plastics manufacturing would be advantageous, although applicants from other production environments who have strong technical ability and a proactive approach will also be considered.What you'll be doing - Setting up and monitoring production equipment- Supporting smooth day to day production across your shift- Carrying out quality checks and ensuring products meet specification- Identifying and resolving minor production issues- Completing production records accurately- Working safely and following company procedures at all times- Supporting colleagues to keep production running efficientlyWhat we're looking for - Previous manufacturing or production experience- A practical, hands on approach- Good problem solving skills- Strong attention to detail- A reliable team player with a positive attitude- Someone comfortable working rotating shiftsIn return - Up to circa £30,000 per annum doe- Full training on company processes and equipment- A stable, long term opportunity with a successful local manufacturer- A supportive working environment where your contribution is recognised If you're looking for a production role where your experience will be valued and you'd like to find out more, we'd love to hear from you .
