Graphic Designer / Prepress Mac Operator

We are looking for a talented Graphic Designer / Prepress Mac Operator to join our print team in Halesowen.

This role offers a great balance of creative artwork design and technical pre-press work. You will design eye-catching layouts while ensuring all files

are set up accurately and made 100% ready for our commercial print presses.

• Design & Layout: Create fresh visual designs and edit existing client artwork using the Adobe Creative Suite.
\n
• Preflight & Prep: Check and prepare artwork to ensure correct bleeds, colors, and layouts for both Litho and Large Format jobs.
\n
• Job Imposition: Set up and arrange page imposition layouts for smooth press production.
\n
• Plate Making: Run our Computer-to-Plate (CTP) system to produce plates for the press room.

• Adobe Creative Suite Expertise: Highly fluent in InDesign, Illustrator, Photoshop, and Acrobat.
\n
• Pre-press Experience: Solid background in checking and preparing artwork for Litho and Large Format print.
\n
• Technical Skills: Imposition knowledge and hands-on experience operating CTP plate machines.
\n
• Workflow Advantage: Knowledge of prepress workflow software is a distinct advantage.
\n
• Mindset: A strong design eye combined with excellent technical attention to detail.
