Glenfield, Leicestershire (Hybrid Working) £525 per day Full-Time 3-Month Temporary Contract
\nAn exciting opportunity has arisen for an experienced Principal Disposal & Acquisition Surveyor to join a leading local authority's Strategic Property Services team.
\nWorking within a diverse property portfolio valued at over £500m, you will take a lead role in the acquisition, disposal and investment management of a broad range of assets, ensuring best value outcomes and supporting the authority's strategic objectives.
\nKey Responsibilities
\n- \n
- Lead on complex property acquisitions and disposals across commercial, development and operational assets. \n
- Develop and implement acquisition, disposal and investment strategies. \n
- Undertake financial and commercial appraisals to support business cases and decision making. \n
- Lead negotiations with developers, landowners, occupiers, agents and other stakeholders. \n
- Manage external consultants, agents and legal advisers. \n
- Provide specialist property advice to senior officers, members and key stakeholders. \n
- Prepare reports and recommendations for senior governance boards and committees. \n
- Support capital programme delivery through effective management of property transactions. \n
Requirements
\n- \n
- Degree in Real Estate or a related property discipline. \n
- Full Member of the Royal Institution of Chartered Surveyors (MRICS). \n
- Significant post-qualification experience in property acquisitions and disposals. \n
- Strong knowledge of landlord and tenant matters, valuation principles and property investment. \n
- Experience of negotiating complex property transactions. \n
- Local Government experience is highly desirable. \n
- Excellent commercial awareness and stakeholder management skills. \n
